This is the personal web blog of Matt Fahrner.

I’m a computer professional who has been working for a large retailer for over 25+ years. I specialize in networking, systems, IT security, and programming. I have been in a senior IT management role for 15+ years working daily with the CIO, CTO, and other top level IT management. My experience has covered a diverse set of topics from systems programming to LAN and WAN networking to large scale systems implementations to Internet and web site set up to security and firewall maintenance to systems architecture and design.

I quite literally love working in computing, consider it an art, and feel extremely lucky that my life’s passion collides conveniently with the work I do daily.
